If your retirement got a report card today, what grade would it get?
You know how your students are doing. But how are you doing? The Teacher Retirement Report Card is a quick three to four minute assessment designed to help you see where you are versus where you want to go, and whether your plan will get you there.
Your report card looks at
- PensionDo you understand what you will actually receive, when you can retire, and the decisions that could impact your pension?
- Supplemental RetirementAre your 403(b), 457(b), IRA and other retirement accounts on track?
- ProtectionIs your family properly protected if something unexpected happens?
- Money and Household EfficiencyIs your money working as efficiently as it could?
- Retirement Goals and VisionDoes your current strategy actually support the retirement you want for yourself and your family?
At the end you will have a clearer picture of where you are doing well, where there may be gaps, and what deserves your attention next. It takes about three to four minutes.

Financial education built specifically for teachers and public employees, by teachers.
Teachers deserve better financial education
You spend your career preparing other people for their future. But when it comes to your own retirement, things can get confusing fast.
When can I retire?
How much money am I going to make?
Am I going to be okay?
Six pieces. The question is how they fit together.
Pension
The benefit you have already earned, and the choices at retirement that change what you actually receive.
Most educators have accumulated different financial pieces throughout their careers, but very few have ever had someone help them understand how all those pieces work together. That is what we are here to change.
Real educators. Real stories.
Do not take my word for it.
What matters is not what I say. It is what happens when educators finally understand their financial picture and have a plan for moving forward. These are real teachers and public employees we have had the privilege of helping.
No Teacher Left Behind.
Teachers spend their entire careers making sure no student gets left behind. But when it comes to their own future, who is making sure they are not left behind?
That is why we created No Teacher Left Behind. Our mission is simple. Help teachers and public employees understand the major pieces of their financial future and give them the education, tools, and resources they need to make informed decisions.
- No complicated financial jargon.
- No shame for what you do not know.
- No cookie cutter financial plan.
This is a mission driven program where teachers help their fellow colleagues and together we can get better.
What are you doing after school?
Maybe you love teaching. Maybe you are ready for something different. Maybe you just want more options.
What Are You Doing After School is a scholarship and career development program built specifically for educators who want to use the skills they have developed in education to create additional income, greater flexibility, and new career opportunities. And there is not just one type of educator this program is designed for.
Maybe you love teaching and have no intention of leaving, but you would like to create another source of income after school, on weekends, or during the summer.
That is why we created What Are You Doing After School. Teachers, coaches and educators already possess many of the skills that make people successful in financial services. Communication, leadership, trust, problem solving, coaching and a servant's heart. We can teach the financial services part.
Through the scholarship program, qualified educators can receive help with licensing, structured training, mentorship and a proven system, with opportunities to pursue this part time while continuing to teach, full time as a career change, or as a new chapter after retirement.
Educators helping educators.
Helping fellow teachers and public employees make better decisions about their pension, retirement and insurance, while creating more income, options, freedom and control in your own life.
Hear from educators who did it.

What could you be doing after school?
Explore the Scholarship ProgramHi, I am Chris.

For more than 25 years I have worked in insurance and financial services, helping individuals and families better understand their money and prepare for their future. But along the way I discovered a group of people I became especially passionate about serving.
Educators.
Teachers are expected to understand an incredibly complicated retirement system while spending their careers focused on taking care of everyone else.
I believe you deserve someone willing to slow things down, explain the pieces in plain English, answer your questions, and help you understand your options before you make important financial decisions. That is what my team and I do. In fact many of my team members are former educators themselves.
I am a husband, dad, business owner, coach, and educator at heart. And I believe financial education does not need to be complicated or intimidating. In a time where we have more information than ever, we have somehow become more confused than ever, and it does not have to be that way.
That is what Chris Reid Educates is all about.
Let us stay connected.
The education does not stop here.
I regularly share videos, tips, stories, financial education, teacher specific news, and simple explanations of the issues that can impact your financial future. If you are a teacher or public employee and want to better understand your money and retirement without all the financial jargon, follow along.
